I certainly love their food and service, fantastic area nearby to my home. The staff members are always helpful. Highly recommended.

Amazing building in downtown Urbana. Cute atmosphere, very clean and updated, friendly staff. We got the Coppertop burger and were impressed! My son enjoyed the BBQ baby back ribs. We all loved their French fries. Overall a very positive experience and we will be back!

Went there tonight to celebrate daughter’s promotion at work, was told they were closing early tonight because the waitress’s son’s dad had surgery this morning.... wasn’t told that when we came in, ordered wine and they only had a big bottle had to rush to drink the bottle of wine to get out of there. Said they were closing at 8:30 and she told us at 8:31 they were closing at 8:30. Will not come in there again!

We went to Coppertop on a Saturday night. It wasn’t busy, and we were hungry, so we were excited about quick service. We had a party of four. Everyone ordered a sandwich/burger with sweet potato fries. It took forever to come out. The fries were both burned and cold, but the sandwiches were all delicious. Our waitress was nice, but seemed to be working by herself. I don’t blame the slow service on her, but rather poor scheduling on a weekend. I’d definitely give it another shot.

Food was surprisingly good. Prices weren't bad either.

Very friendly. Quick service. The mushrooms were ok. Catfish was really good. Theirs fries are good and unique. New York strip was good. Maybe a spice that threw it off a little. Over all, would visit again!

I celebrated my birthday this evening in this great place. Well it was a marvelous evening and the restaurant was certainly one of the reasons for this strong celebration. The crew participated in a pleasant manner, the cuisine was tasty and my friends were extremely glad. We shall surely return for more joyful events. thanks very much.

Very good food

After a long day of volleyball the team wanted to go somewhere and have a real meal. We chose this place since it was local and one of the only ones open on Sunday evening. I called ahead to make sure they could handle 25-30 people and they said no problem. When we arrived they already had the back room set up for us, complete with table settings and the NFL playoff game on the big flat screen TV. We had one main waitress and another helped with refilling drinks. It took 2 hours but I don’t think that was bad for 10 separate checks and the girls not sitting with their parents. Not a single order was wrong and neither were the checks. I haven’t even mentioned the food yet! It was delicious! We ordered fried green beans, stuffed mushrooms, wings, and pretzel bites and none of it disappointed us. When my Cole slaw came the others at the table wanted to steal it because it smelled so good. It tasted even better. I highly recommend this place-with a large group make sure you call ahead!

The food and the service was great!!

Service was bad. My hubby and I were the only people in the restaurant and no one checked to see if we needed drink refills or how the food was. There were three people working and they stood behind the counter and talked. My husband had to go to the counter to ask for the refill. They didn't bring the check and once again had to go to the counter to get the check. The workers were just too busy talking. I got a club sandwich and the bacon was like rawhide. Hubby got a burger. Meat seemed to be frozen and not fresh. I will never go there again and highly do NOT recommend!

Hit or miss. First time was great. Second time not so great.

Started with an appetizer it was supposed to be calamari but what they served us was not calamari. Tasted more like imitation crab nothing like calamari should taste. I ordered the grilled chicken and pasta the chicken was processed chicken it was a frozen patty it was not even a fresh breast of chicken. The chicken tasted bad the pasta had no flavor I have to say all in all our whole meal was not worth going there for. Definitely do not recommend this place.

We had a pair of great seafood meals - blackened catfish and seasoned salmon. The fries were wonderful - crispy on the outside and well seasoned. It was a little far from our end of Springfield, but worth the trip.

Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and one of the best bloody marys I have had in a long time!

So glad we found our favorite chef from Springfield. Patty melts are great and nice beer selection.

Random find, but happy we found ourselves there! Ordered the Coppertop Burger & Fried Cod- good size portions, burger was great! Fish was very good, French fries were tasty (maybe a little to much salt but thest of the seasoning was very good). Our waitress was very attentive. Service was quick, great music in the background, nice atmosphere. Definitely want to go again
